Founded in 2020, the Zoetis Foundation is a charitable organization funded through private resources and supported exclusively by Zoetis. The Foundation is dedicated to creating opportunities for veterinarians and farmers around the world.

In alignment with Zoetis’ purpose of nurturing our world and humankind by advancing animal care, Zoetis Inc. initially committed US$35 million over five years to the Zoetis Foundation to support its three giving priorities: Education, Well-being, and Livelihoods.

Across all of its areas of focus, diversity, equity, and inclusion remain essential priorities in the partnerships established by the Foundation, helping to create thriving and inclusive professions for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and farmers worldwide.

Initially, the Zoetis Foundation directed investments toward scholarships and diversity initiatives aimed at fostering a more inclusive veterinary community in the United States.

Beginning in 2022, the Foundation expanded its work to support veterinary workforce development, diversity and inclusion programs, and mental well-being initiatives for farmers and veterinarians in the United States. It also broadened its support for the livelihoods of producers and veterinary professionals in Africa, Australia, Brazil, China, and Europe.
